Once gain you provided an incredible adventure!! You took us to your favorite place where we saw bears, Momma bears, Baby bears, lots of bears. You positioned us to get the best photographs possible. Guided us with your knowledge, to make our experience even better. You have an easy-going, laid-back leadership quality which was tested on this trip. When Diane had a heart attack in the middle of the river on a sand bar, you jumped into action. Quickly assisting Elaine in helping Diane. Your nitroglycerin saved her life. My Iceland trip with Mark Buckler Photography was an incredible experience. The trip was exceptionally well organized, with amazing opportunities to photograph Iceland’s birds, wildlife, and landscapes. My photography interests have been evolving from landscapes toward wildlife, particularly capturing behavior and action, and Mark was instrumental in helping me make that transition. He is an outstanding teacher and mentor, sharing his knowledge of birds and wildlife while providing hands-on coaching with camera settings, autofocus, composition, and anticipating behavior in the field. His guidance continued during our photo processing sessions, where his feedback helped me better understand both what worked and how I could improve. I came home with photographs I’m proud of, greater confidence in my wildlife photography, and many new skills to continue building on. Just as importantly, it was a memorable and unique adventure. I highly, highly recommend Mark Buckler Photography to anyone who wants to improve their photography while having an unforgettable experience. I would travel with Mark again without hesitation.

This was a great trip! Puffins 2026. Mark and Kara did a great job organizing the trip and taking care of us (good photos, good views, good food, good lodging). Mark took every opportunity to make sure we were in the right place to get great shots. He was also always available and helpful with our photography without being in our face or overbearing. I walked off on my own many times for hours on Grimsey Island and got some great shots (it's worth walking around the entire island if you are semi-fit). Without Marks comments and suggestions though, they wouldn't have been nearly as good. Oh and if you want to see puffins, oh my. Literally there were 100''s outside, across the lane from the wonderful guest house! That was just the start.

I had a great time on this trip. This is my second photo expedition with Mark and I’m looking forward to my third one coming up in a few months! Mark goes out of his way to make sure everyone is comfortable and to provide his clients with ample opportunities to photograph the local wildlife. Mark facilitates several opportunities per day for the group to photograph. He gives tips and pointers to those who request it, and also offers guidance with photo editing. Mark’s wife, Kara, was our cook for most of this journey and did a wonderful job making sure that we were well fed with delicious food. The guest house on Grimey Island was well appointed comfortable and spacious and just steps away from puffins!

I had an excellent experience during the bear photography workshop with Mark. The trip was very well organized, and Mark was a knowledgeable, professional, and thoughtful guide. I learned a lot about bear photography techniques, including how to approach situations safely, position myself for better photos, and behave responsibly around black bears. Mark created a comfortable and safe environment while also helping us get great photographic opportunities. His experience with bears and wildlife photography was clear throughout the workshop. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone interested in improving their wildlife photography skills and learning to photograph bears ethically and respectfully.
